At Flügger, preparations for a busy high season have long been in full progress.
– “We have prepared thoroughly since the autumn and are now ready for the extra activity in the spring and summer period,” says Christina Lassen. She is Head of Supply Chain and Planning at Flügger, and she is responsible for planning the high season.
A busy period requires preparation of production well in advance. Christina explains that close collaboration across countries and departments has been an advantage:
– “We have gathered experience from our different markets and optimised our processes to make us even stronger in 2025.”
As the temperature rises, the demand for exterior products is particularly noticeable.
This results in changes in production at the factory in Kolding, where both raw materials and stock levels have been adjusted to ensure a stable supply.
– “The exterior products require different raw materials than our interior range, so we have planned well in advance. At the same time, we have built up stocks of our black buckets, as the vast majority of exterior products are filled in them. We have also dedicated a large part of the production facility to oil, which takes up a lot of space in production,” explains Amina Abdullah, Production Manager at the factory in Kolding.
– “Overall, this means that we are ready to ensure a stable flow of deliveries throughout the season,” she concludes.
