Flügger introduces 80 long-lasting colours
Flügger now presents a brand new colour card ‘Flügger 80’ aimed at the professional painter. The colours are Flügger’s take on 80 quality colours that never go out of fashion and can be used indoors and outdoors in any light. The colours are developed in Flügger’s Danish laboratory and the colour card fits right into the painter’s back pocket. One of the 80 brand new colours is a pure white: ‘Flügger White’ is expected to become the colour of choice for painters.

The 80 new colours in the colour chart look far into the future and give customers peace of mind when choosing colours for their living room, summer house, fence or wooden facade.

The colour card is a selling point – that fits right into your pocket

Flügger 80 is specially designed for professional painters: the colours can be used both indoors and outdoors and change only minimally in different lighting. As a result, painters only need to take one colour card with them to their customers.

This is useful, for example, when a painter visits private customers. Here, the task is often to refresh the home with new colours – and that’s where Flügger 80 comes into its rightful place: Every colour choice is based on a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and wants:

“The colours are designed to be functional both indoors and outdoors. At the same time, the colours will look almost identical in the light of an incandescent bulb, a fluorescent lamp or in sunlight. The colours are developed in daylight, but it will not differ if you look at the same wall with incandescent lamps or fluorescent lamps,” says Anita Florisson, who is a colour technician at Flügger and has developed the colours.

The colours give customers a peace of mind

The special thing about ‘Flügger 80’ is not only the long lasting colours, but also the way they are selected.

The colours are muted, Nordic and very pleasing to the eye. ‘Flügger 80’ is therefore an extra reassurance for the Danish company’s customers:

“Flügger has over 40,000 colours and we can always make them all. But with the new colour chart, we have made it easier for customers to make a choice. It should be easier to choose colours for the home that also have a long-lasting appeal. Because even though we experience colours in different ways as the seasons and times change, the vast majority of us keep the colours in our homes for many years,” says Flügger’s colour expert, Fie Hetting.

As part of the new colour chart, Flügger also brings an original, pure white. It’s called Flügger White and has no yellowish or greyish undertones. It is made to be used specifically with the 79 other colours, but can of course also be matched with all other colours.
